holdin is published by Abbal Consulting, a French SASU company, registered under SIREN 909993339, headquartered at 160 avenue Pasteur, 93150 Le Blanc-Mesnil, France. The app is built to respect your privacy. This isn't a marketing slogan — it's how the app actually works. No personal data is collected, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.

No tracking

holdin uses no analytics tools, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs. We don't measure your taps, your sessions, or your behavior in the app. We don't know how often you open it, or how you use it.

100% local data

All your data (desires, timers, check-ins, verdicts) is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. Nothing is sent to a server. Nothing is synced to the cloud. If you delete the app, your data goes with it.

No account required

You don't need to create an account to use holdin. No email, no password, no sign-in with Google or Apple. We don't ask you for anything.

No server

The app works entirely offline. There's no backend, no API, no remote database. The app is self-contained — it doesn't need an internet connection to function.

Local notifications only

Notifications (check-in reminders, timer endings) are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved. Your notifications don't go through any third-party service.

Device data

No data from your device is collected or transmitted. The app works 100% offline. No technical information (device model, OS, identifiers) is sent anywhere.

App permissions

holdin only requests permission to send local notifications (check-in reminders and timer endings). Storage is local (SQLite). No sensitive permissions are required: no access to camera, contacts, location, or any other device data.

Website and waitlist

If you sign up for the waitlist on this website, your email address is collected solely to notify you when the app launches. It's not used for anything else, never shared, and you can request its deletion at any time. Waitlist emails are kept until the app launches, then deleted.

Payment

In-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google through the RevenueCat infrastructure. holdin has no access to your banking data. No payment information passes through our servers.

Minors

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, you should not use holdin.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, and right to object. Since holdin does not collect any personal data through the app, these rights primarily apply to the waitlist email address. To exercise your rights, email us at contact@holdin.app.
